There’s really little reason to buy the materials for building a house, mainly due to the cost of the processed materials and the simple fact the materials required are so plentiful and easily acquired. Usually haven’t had to pay any guild mate for the help too. As far as a general thing for gold farming, you’re looking at coinpurses, in-demand items no one wants to grind, trade packs, events, and so on. If you have a house in a zone then you’ll get gold based off your resident coin contribution too. Edit: If you’re in a guild and ask for help, there should be someone willing to if they aren’t doing anything. The population being in decline is a much bigger factor when accounting for why many of these are not profitable when one or two more people join a market. In the big picture these are small things, but they affect people’s gold income, but not a lot of what we see on the forums is new info. And a lot of what people share, or do on their own is lucrative. But that is in fact primarily due to the fact that demand is low bc population is decreasing. The known ways to make good coin in this game are very public, out in the open.
Trion releases items in boxes, floods our market, but players are buying the boxes and apex, it has crushed so many markets in this game. That and Trion constantly changing crafting and other proficiencies to make it more and more difficult to make coin and force players into spending more to get less, or into making coin through specific methods.
